This is a popular merchant with specialists as the only issuer of Civil War store cards from Kansas. Adolph Cohen was a dealer in clothing and gents furnishing goods, with two locations per the 1859 Leavenworth city directory: 35 Delaware and the northeast corner of Main and Cherokee. In 1863 Adolph Cohen & Co. and Cohen & Markson were both located at 21 Delaware Street. This handsome EF will nicely represent the copper variant of Cohens token, the only other type known a brass striking from these same dies.，，
