Pair of uniface die trials for 1860 Abraham Lincoln, DeWitt-AL 1860-51.，Both are struck on large white metal flans, approximately 43 mm in diameter and 3.75 mm thick. Both are Choice Mint State. The obverse impression has a couple of small nicks and light hairlines but is boldly prooflike and very attractive. The reverse, with its more protective design, is nearly pristine save for a couple of tiny marks. It is also boldly prooflike and frosted on the devices. A superb provenance to the Captain Andrew Zabriskie Collection, sold in 1999. Likely unique and certainly impressive.
