Choice About Uncirculated.，An exceptional example, almost completely untoned with semi-reflective, silver-gray fields. Only minor friction evident on the highest points of the design, and a few contact marks, the latter almost unavoidable on the soft metal impression such as this. Trivial spotting in the right obverse field and on the reverse rim at about 4 oclock. The collaring mark just right of 12 oclock on the rim and the perfect state of the dies indicate that this is a very early striking, c.1824. The dramatic battle scene on the reverse depicts the body of famed Native American Chief Tecumseh in the field between the opposing armies.，Ex Fred Fried; Paul Boscos Auction 22 of November 2000, lot 646.，
