1813 Captain James Lawrence Medal. 19th Century U.S. Mint Restrike. Bronze. 65 mm. By Moritz Furst. Julian NA-14. MS-64 BN (NGC).，This restrike from original dies probably dates to before 1868 as new dies were prepared that year. A vertical obverse die break bisects the bust and, as well, this piece does not display either the droopy U in the engravers name or the missing serif on the letter M in AMERI, both of which are diagnostic features of the 1868 replacement die.
