Undated (ca. 1863) Lovetts Second Series -- Tomb at Mt. Vernon. First Obverse. Copper. 28 mm. Musante GW-508, Baker-124. MS-64 RB Cameo (NGC).，A boldly defined example with a few light carbon flecks precluding an even higher numeric grade. The RB and Cameo designations from NGC are curious to us for both sides are warmly patinated in antique golden-brass with minimal remnants of faded pink luster and a uniformly satin finish from the dies. The medals in this series were first advertised on the back cover of the December 16, 1862 Bangs, Merwin & Co. sale catalog. According to George Hampden Lovett, only 16 examples of this type were produced for inclusion as part of 20-piece sets. Rare.，，
