1898 National Conference of Charities and Correction Medal. Silver. 76 mm. By Victor David Brenner. Miller-12, Smedley-27. MS-62 (NGC).，One of the final medals engraved by Brenner (designer of the Lincoln cent) directly into steel dies, before he began modelling his works in plaster. There were only 30 examples struck in silver, as follows: 15 for presentation to officers of the conference; 15 additional examples for sale to ANS members. The obverse of the present example exhibits a mottled matte silver-gray and copper-tinged finish, while the reverse presents a more uniform silver-gray patina.<p><p>，，
