The legends NEW YORK STATE POULTRY SOCIETY above and INCORPORATED 1869 below. <strong>Rev:</strong> A laurel wreath with three eggs in a basket at the bottom, the inscription AWARDED TO above and the added engraving D.L. LEON FOR A SUPERIOR GREYHOUND DEC. 69. within the wreath. Light lilac-gray iridescence over reflective surfaces that are nearly in the Mint State category. Wispy hairlines and other trivial handling marks are largely confined to the reverse. An example of this type, awarded to H.C.
