Reverse: Advertisement in seven lines, BRINLEY & STEELS / HOTEL / & / DINING-ROOMS / 312 314 316 / GREENWICH ST. / NEW-YORK. Most of the original gilding is intact save for the highest points. Light golden olive on the obverse with light green and gold patina on the reverse. The Bowers plate piece and noted by him to be the only example seen.<p>Is there a photograph or drawing of the hotel somewhere?
