1900 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). CAC.，Offered is a splendid Choice example of this popular type issue in the Proof Morgan dollar series. Essentially brilliant, the obverse contrasts somewhat with a reverse that is lightly toned in iridescent pale gold and lilac-blue. Both sides are uniformly sharp in strike with bold contrast between satiny devices and mirrored fields. The Proof mintage of 912 coins is likely explained by the Mints anticipation of heightened sales in association with the turn of the century.
