AU-55 (PCGS).，This is an uncommonly boldly defined example, Auctori Plebis tokens always offered with more or less soft detail in the centers and some of the peripheral devices partially off the flan. Glossy copper-brown patina throughout, the surfaces generally smooth and highly attractive in the absence of all but a few trivial handling marks. Produced in England and circulating there starting no later than 1795, the Auctori Plebis tokens have been adopted by American collectors due to the similarity of the obverse portrait to that used on Draped Bust Left Connecticut coppers.，，
