1837 Capped Bust Dime. JR-4. Rarity-1. MS-65+ (NGC).，A handsome and fully original piece, both sides are toned in a blend of warm blue-gray, silver-olive and pale rose iridescence. Smooth and satiny in texture with a razor sharp strike from the rims to the centers. This is a popular issue for type purposes, being from a transitional year in the dime series that saw production of the final Capped Bust examples and the first Liberty Seated coins. The outgoing Capped Bust issue was delivered using four die marriages with JR-4, offered here, the most plentiful and also the easiest to identify due to the Fancy 8 in the date. (The other three varieties of this issue use the same obverse die with a Block 8.) Uncommonly well preserved as a premium Gem, the example in this lot is sure to catch the eye of astute bidders.，，
