1803 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-101, T-1. Rarity-3. Large 3, Small Reverse Stars. EF-40 (NGC).，Bright and brilliant at center with considerable traces of mint luster remaining. The obverse border is toned in rich shades of violet and sapphire, with just the faintest lilac shades visible on the reverse. Well struck with uniform boldness and strong definition to Libertys hair and profile features. The reverse die has been lapped and is now missing much of the lathe lines and the lumps around the eagles right claw that is visible in on the specimen in the previous lot. An attractive and scarce specimen suitable for both specialists and type collectors.，From the Sutton Court Collection of Early Half Dollar Varieties.
