1809 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-3. IIII Edge. AU Details--Questionable Color (PCGS).，Somewhat dusky golden gray surfaces are clearly unnatural. However, there are no serious nicks or other marks that are distracting upon first inspection. There seems to be a bit of microgranularity in places that is only seen under magnification, but overall the piece is rather sharp, featuring fairly strong detail. The only area of weakness is at Libertys cap and at the opposing position on the reverse. One of the well-collected experimental edges that were struck in 1809, a popular <em>Guide Book</em> variety.，，
