安徽省造光绪元宝十文。极罕。A. M. Tracey Woodward在其著述<em>The Minted Ten-Cash Coins of China</em>中（原书中文印製译名《中国铸造十文银币》有刊误，《中国铸造十文铜币》更为妥当）提到："该种币章是为奖赏本省御林军的忠义和功勳而铸。(p. 17) "目前我们尚未查到有同款面市，但此前海瑞德拍卖行2012年1月编号为3016的拍卖上曾呈现一枚无"TEN CASH"及6颗星的版别，拍品编号23617，与我们本场拍卖中版别CCC-76的拍品属同款。此币底板处呈现诱人的浅棕色包浆，图文高铸处则为柔暖的焦糖色。虽有注明边缘损伤，仍不失为完整悦目的极品。

CHINA. Anhwei. 10 Cash, ND (1902). PCGS Genuine--Rim Damage, EF Details Secure Holder.CL-AH.39; KM-W46; CCC-77; W-46 (N-10); Duan-0694. VERY RARE. Woodward (p. 17) notes, "These pieces were struck to serve as a mark of reward to Imperial troops of this province for faithful and or meritorious service." We are unaware of any recent offerings of this type, but an example without the legend "TEN CASH" and the six stars, appeared in Heritage sale 3016 (New York January 2012, lot 23617). See the CCC-76 we are offering in this sale. Appealing light brown toning in the fields and amongst the devices complemented by warm caramel atop of the devices. Despite the noted defect of "Rim Damage" a pleasant example.
