CHINA. Honan. 100 Cash, Year 20 (1931). PCGS MS-63 BN Secure Holder.CL-HON.67; Duan-2668; CCC-557; Y-398. Single finest graded at PCGS with the next finest being four grades lower (AU-58). EXTREMELY RARE in this state of preservation. An absolutely outstanding example of this usually well worn issue far and away superior to the AU-58 example we sold in our 2012 August Hong Kong auction Lot # 51235. Well struck with lovely matte surfaces that display rich chocolate patina throughout with just a hint of original mint red peaking out from the devices. Truly an exceptional example sure to excite the connoisseur of Chinese copper coins.
