新疆新省光绪元宝二分五厘水龙 PCGS AU 50

新省光绪元宝市银二分五厘铜币。稀罕品种，如此保存状态更为难得。採用一两等于一钱半银或十五文的币值，饶有趣味。虽然大小与其他省份发行的铜币相同，此款却更厚，由此在与其他省份铜币进行找换时常造成困扰。铸打优良，细节较为明晰，观之可人。

CHINA. Sinkiang. 2 Fen 5 Li, ND (1906). PCGS AU-50 Secure Holder.CL-XJ.01; Y-1; Duan-2932; Ma-M1; Xinjiang-433. RARE especially so in this state of preservation. An interesting series which was based on the Tael being worth 1 1/2 Candareens of silver or 15 Cash. Though these are normal size for other issues from this province, they are thicker than other provinces. This led to difficulty converting such pieces in transactions containing them and pieces from other provinces. Well struck for this normally crude issue with good definition of the details. Attractive patina.
