P-23. PMG About Uncirculated 55.An important lightly circulated offering on this more challenging 1940 date and the finest we can recall handling. It shows as the third finest PMG has graded without equal and just one of the two finer pieces is in the Uncirculated grade range. Bold color and detail remain throughout and strong plate embossing is also noticed. It seem just a minor spot stain at the back lower right is all that negated an "EPQ" designation from PMG.
