至元通行宝钞二贯。大幅面竖版钞，桑纸製，贰拾贯钱面值，大型红色印章加盖，正上方为银号名。花边环绕，下方中部亦有文字及印章。我们经手的同款中的最佳品相，定会成为任一集藏的焦点。元朝由1271年建朝，1368年覆灭，历经两名皇帝统治，此枚纸钞便印于忽必烈汗治下，能保存至今，实属奇迹。体量比大明寳钞一贯较小，背面无字，仅有几枚印章。PCGS标明"修补、重绘、小渍点、左下角有小孔"。PCGS Very Fine 25.CHINA--EMPIRE.
Yuan Dynasty. 2 Kuan, 1335-40. P-UNL. PCGS Very Fine 25.(S/M #C167-1) Large vertical format printed on mulberry paper. 20 strings of cash coins at center with large red stamped seal over. Bank name, top center. Ornate bordering design and text at lower center with additional stamped seal. A note that predates the famous Ming Dynasty notes by nearly 100 years. This is the finest of such a note we have seen and certainly will be a focal point in any collection it enters. The Yuan Dynasty lasted from 1271 to 1368 with two emperors with Kublai Khan being in power during this notes circulation period. This note is a miracle of survival and presents one of the most significant Chinese banknote offerings we have handled. A slightly smaller format than the later Ming Dynasty One Kuan note and is with a blank back, aside from a few stamped seals. PCGS mentions "Repairs, Design Redrawn, Minor Stains, and Small Hole at Lower Left" in the comments section of the holder.
