1942年日本佔领菲律宾马尼拉纪念银章。直径35.46毫米，重17.8克，光边，挂环被移除。Clemente Zamora造。正面描绘一日本军装军人居中，远眺科雷西多岛，上部为铭文。背面刻画了两棵棕榈树和四颗五角星，底板铸有一首诗，Basso认为诗作者是本间雅晴。并无綫索显示此章是在原有币章上重铸。双面有许多摩擦痕，边缘粗糙，有多处崩坏。VERY FINE.PHILIPPINES. Japanese soldier in combat gear facing away at center gazing at the island of Corregidor in distance with commemorative legend above; Reverse: Two palm trees with fronds at top, four stars at center and with a poem filling the fields, which Basso credits to General Homma. No sign of any undertype can be noted. Numerous contact marks in the fields of both sides. The edge rough and displays an assortment bumps and nicks.
