Islamic - Shahs of Iran，QAJAR: Fath Ali Shah, 1797-1834, AV ¼ toman (1.54g), Dear al-Ibada Yazd, AH1212, A-2858A, this is probably the first known example of this denomination for type R, added to the Checklist of Islamic Coins, thanks to this piece, Fine to VF, RRR. Obverse text "amadeh az fath-i ali sekke be-zar-e shahi" ("from Fath Ali came the royal coins of gold"), mint & date on reverse.
